We spent the day doing chores around the house. I walked to the village in the morning but ended up having to go to Tesco because there were no leeks available in the village (and it’s difficult to make leek and potato soup without them). I tracked some down and returned home. I cleaned the bathroom and made the soup. Meanwhile the young man had been to B&Q and bought new curtain rails for the kitchen and bedroom. He put them up and I vacced up after him and rehung the curtains. It finally stopped raining today so I got lots of washing done too. A productive day all round really.
