Barratt Tan

The respite in the weather didn’t last long. It rained again today. It was mostly heavy, sometimes torrential. Fortunately we didn’t have any plans for today. The young man was out with his old uni mates last night and I went to pick him up. This meant we didn’t get to bed until about 2am. We almost had an impromptu trip to Reading this afternoon when a friend who was staying there rang to say he’d lost his car keys, could we drive down with his spare to save him having to pay £600 for the AA to change his locks. We ate lunch and were just thinking about heading off when he phoned back to say he’d found them. So we spent a lazy afternoon playing on our laptops and watching TV.

It wasn’t particularly cold out today, just wet, and so I added the scarf to feel cosy when I ventured out to return a top and to get petrol. This is one of my favourite cosy outfits for this time of year. Expect to see many repeats and variations of it.
