After a leisurely start (how much am I not going to want to get up for work next week?!) I made some leek and potato soup (using my new hand blender – it’s so much easier now I have one of those!) and we ate that for lunch. I went for a swim this afternoon, then popped to Tesco to get bread and fill up with petrol before the VAT is increased on it next week. We’re just having a quiet evening in now – I’ve just done a pedicure and the young man is upstairs doing something on his computer. Mary Poppins is on the TV and I love that film so I’m just going to watch that and then see what else is on.
