It’s the final day of the capsule wardrobe challenge and what have I learnt? That I can survive on 10 items plus 5 accessories for 5 days, but that I’d rather I didn’t have to. That having limited clothing but unlimited accessories (aka the 30x30) is far easier and more pleasurable. That the ‘Winging It’ planning (or not planning) method works just fine. My final piece of clothing has been added today:
10. White top

So that’s one challenge done. Now I just have to complete the 30x30 and save all my shoes. Piece of cake!

Last night was choir practice at church, then I caught up with Home and Away over a cup of tea.

Today I have 6 bags of clothes and shoes in my car to take to the charity shop at dinner time. It’s all the stuff I cleared out last weekend and it feels good to open my wardrobes and see them a little less crowded.

Tonight I have a bunch of chores to do as my mom is coming over tomorrow to go to Ikea and the outlet mall so I won’t have time for chores then.

And I am excited because a group of friends and I have booked to see Dolly Parton in September! I am a huge country music fan and Dolly Parton is the first lady of the genre so it will be great to see her perform.
