I spent the morning doing chores in the house – vaccing, making up the spare room, making soup for dinner. I popped to the village to drop some old dishes at the charity shop and to get some crème fraîche to go in the soup. After dinner I did some ironing and now I am just chilling for the afternoon. We have a friend staying over tonight and are going bowling with my sister and her hubby.
Pair of shoe #14 is safe. These flats are real leather and were just £12 in Matalan. They have a little bit of elastic at the back which I found made them really uncomfortable when I first got them. Then Tat said she had the same problem with a pair of flats and that she had made a little snip in the back of them which had helped no end. I made a tiny cut the back of these – just enough to break the elastic and now they are super comfy.
