Outfit: Shoeper Challenge #16 and Black With Navy
I think navy blue might be my favourite colour right now. I bought a gorgeous dress in the village charity shop yesterday that is navy blue. I will be debuting it on Saturday for my friends’ wedding reception. I love that black and navy is no longer a taboo combination as the two shades look awesome together.
I collected my black OTK boots from the cobbler yesterday to be told that they are beyond repair. I am a little upset about this as I love those boots, but I decided to be ruthless and bin them. At least that partially solves the problem of where I will put the two new pairs of shoes I have arriving this week (that I bought with a gift voucher and just £3 of my own money).
So onwards with the shoeper challenge. These boots were bought back in 2006 I think, and they are real suede which is unusual for New Look. I think I paid £25 for them, despite the picture being marked £30. I love the colour, and the button detailing. I am a sucker for buttons on shoes.
Last night I tried out a new gym class – Body Conditioning. It was kind of circuits using mats, steps and weights. It was OK and I think I’ll go again. I am trying to mix up the classes I do so I don’t get bored. I’m going to Aquafit again tonight as I do like that one and it feels like a good workout when you get out of the pool.
I dried my hair again with my Remington Spin Curl dryer. I did exactly the same as Sunday night, but this time I didn't tie it back to sleep. The curls stayed in fine and any fluff this morning was revived with some heat protector spray and more gel hairspray.
