Matalan red flats

I’m not just mixing patterns today, I’m mixing stripes! The mornings are still a bit chilly around these parts (well this is the Frozen North after all) so a jacket was a definite necessity. I added a scarf too, because I am nesh. I added a pashmina to yesterday’s look and ended up wearing it all day because I loved how it looked. I should have taken a picture with it on.

Last night was a busy one. I got my hair cut, went home and made tea. As soon as I was ready I got on my bike and went down to the local town hall to help with the costumes that were arriving for the show. As I’m not in the show I ended up running around for people, checking everything was OK, that the men’s capes were the right length and so on. I left about 9.15pm before it got too dark as I was cycling home again. I am trying to use my bike as much as I can in the evenings at the moment (weather permitting) to save a bit of petrol and to get some exercise.

Today is likely to be just as busy. I need to do a bit of grocery shopping and go to the bank, and I’m getting my eyebrows waxed this afternoon.
