Outfit: Thursday
Last night I took the old coffee table to the tip, and wrote a couple of blog posts. Tonight, I’m going to a Boxercise class at the gym. I’ve missed my regular classes due to being off work and being away for the past couple of weeks so I need to get into it again. The forecast for the weekend is not good, so I’ll try to fit in a swimming session too if I can.
And in keeping with my new health kick, I signed up to Weight Watchers Online today. Inspired by Allie’s amazing progress, and Arlene’s on Slimming World, I decided it would be the easiest way to track what I’m eating and actually stick to the plan. I am heavier than I was a few years ago and I just want to lose enough so that my clothes sit better and I feel more comfortable.
I cleared out 4 pairs of shoes last night. I am aware that with the gifts from Sarenza and Spartoo my collection is ever increasing (though without me spending any money on it, which is a good thing) and I am only making the Shoeper Challenge harder for myself. Clearing out shoes I’ve already worn this year won’t help me with that, but it will make some space in my cupboards.
I got this skirt in the DP sale the other week. It’s cotton but it’s quite thick so it will work year round. I think it will look awesome with black tights and a black polo neck sweater. There is a matching belt with a bow at the front, but that is a bit big for me and I need to move the buttons before I can use it. But any black belt works fine with it and this studded one just adds some extra detailing. Sticking with the black and white theme, I picked out my Irregular Choice Flick Flacks. My sister and I visited the Irregular Choice store on Carnaby Street at the weekend and it was fantastic to see all the wacky shoes on display together.
