Outfit: Red Friday
I seem to have been wearing a lot of black and white this week, so it was time to brighten things up with some red today. It is promised to be drier and warmer today too, so I bravely turned up my jeans this morning.
Last night I did the Tesco shop and after tea I went to Boxercise. It was a good class, not too busy and even though our regular instructor is still away, the lady that stood in for her gave us a good workout. When I got home I stewed some apples to go in my porridge at breakfast time, did some ironing and backed up some photos.
This afternoon I am getting my hair done, and I need to buy a birthday card for the young man’s aunt. This evening I have to plan my Sunday school lesson for Sunday and tidy out my car as I’m off on a road trip with some girl-friends tomorrow.
This cape is vintage (it was my mom’s in the 1960s) and has been hanging in my wardrobe for a few years now. It doesn’t get nearly enough wear and fall is the perfect time for it, before it gets so cold you need the sleeves of a coat. All my pictures of it came out blurry today – I blame a depleted camera battery. (Note to self: charge camera battery.) This one was the best of a bad bunch but you kind of get the idea from it.
