Priceless Navy

I could have saved a pair of boots in the Shoeper Challenge last night as I wore a pair I’d not worn since before February 14th when the challenge started. However, because of Tesco, I didn’t have time to take a picture before I went out. I am blaming Tesco as I had managed to buy a pack of naan breads yesterday afternoon that was dated 5th October. As yesterday was 6th October I needed to take it back and exchange it for a pack that was actually in date. Yes I should have checked the date, but Tesco shouldn’t have out of date items on their shelves. Anyway, I made the exchange then continued on my way to church for choir practice. It was cold and windy and raining out so singing Christmas carols made more sense than it did last week when it was still very warm out. According to the building thermometer I passed on the way home it was just 3°C. Any colder and it would have been snowing. Thanks to the rain I was too wet to take a picture when I got home, so the boots will just have to be worn and saved another day.

This morning dawned much drier and a little warmer (7°C – practically tropical!) I am pleased to report. However, I still added a cosy scarf when I went out. This afternoon I need to call at Boots on my way home (or go home and walk up there, depending on the weather) and then I’m making chicken curry for tea (hence the need for naan breads).

Navy and cream striped blazer – Next Tall

Jeans – H&M
