Happy Pancake Day! Are you having pancakes tonight? Have you had them for your breakfast already? I’m not having them tonight – the young man isn’t keen and neither is my sister’s hubby, so we’re going to the local pub for tea instead. I’ll have to make some this week though.

So, the scones I made on Sunday were so delicious that they all got eaten, and I ended up making another batch last night. I really must buy some dried fruit so that I can make fruit ones next time. I got back from the gym and set straight to baking. They smelled delicious and we ate a couple of them whilst they were still warm.

I’ve not worn this dress for a while and I decided it was probably warm enough to put just a long sleeve t shirt under it (and it is, we’re having a bit of a mild spell this week). I went for grey tights as they are less harsh than black.

My courtesy car arrived yesterday and whilst I am very grateful to be provided with a courtesy car, I hate the one I’ve been given. It’s an enormous people carrier (I asked for something small) that is about twice the length of my teeny car and you can’t see any further forward than the bottom of the windscreen. So you have absolutely no idea where the front of the car is. Why you would design a car like that is beyond me and quite why anyone buys them is also a mystery. I just hope I won’t have it for too long.
