Outfit: Shoeper Challenge 2012 #6 and Chinese Food
Last night we went to the other side of the city to the Chinese buffet restaurant that we often frequent near my sister’s house. We met my parents, sister and brother-in-law and would have had a pleasant evening, but for a group of four women who thought it appropriate to let their small children run up and down the restaurant all night. Hell is other people’s children.
I did manage to save another pair of shoes: these were bought in the New Look sale in about 2006 for the bargain price of £5. They get plenty of wear each year and they are pretty comfy considering how cheap they were. I think it’s the wider heel that does it.
The blue sweater is sparkly – it has metallic threads running through it. The earrings were vetoed as soon as the young man got home for being too noisy. I changed them for an equally large and bonkers (but quieter) pair.
Blue sweater – Topshop
Jeans – Armani (David Jones, Sydney)
Blue patent shoes – New Look
Silver earrings – New Look
Silver and diamante necklace – gifted
Snakeskin belt – local boutique
Silver bangle – M&S (free on 3 for 2 offer)
Total Est. Cost £108
