It was my birthday yesterday. We had a day out visiting various places. We went to Wetherby first up and had a wander around the town. Then we went on to Boston Spa. Boston Spa is only a small place so there wasn’t much to see there, but we had a walk by the river and looked at the weir.
We’d had a late breakfast so decided to go to Harrogate for afternoon tea. We went in the Crown Hotel and had a lovely selection of sandwiches, warm scones and cakes. It was delicious. We had a walk up into the town afterwards and then back through the Valley Gardens.
The young man is cooked tea last night – his speciality of Kickin’ Chicken.
