On Wednesday morning we had an early-ish start and headed off to the Gadget Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham. We’d contemplated going last year but didn’t, so this year when we saw an ad for it on TV we decided to book tickets. There were all sorts of things to see and we had a great time walking round and looking at everything (and we must have racked up a few miles I reckon – the NEC is huge!).
We came back in good time in an attempt to miss the traffic but were thwarted when the M1 was closed and ended up diverting off to miss the hold up.
We went to our local pub for tea in the evening where the food is always superb.
