Outfit: July 21st - In The Navy!
This top has a really nice drape to it and I don't know why I don't wear it more often. I've had it about 4 years and I suppose I forget about it as it's kind of a t shirt, but it's actually nicer than a t shirt because it's made from a heavier fabric than cotton. However, it really is NSFW (it drapes a little too well when you lean forward!) so I added a bandeau later on. If you don't wear bandeau tops, here's my post on why I think they're awesome.
Anyway, I paired all the navy with my orange jacket which I think is a fab colour combination.

Outfit: July 19th - Stripes Again
The temperature hit 30 degrees this day and that is hot for these parts so a cotton t shirt dress was ideal for beating the heat. These are the replacement white pumps I mentioned last week. I don't like them as much as the Primark ones, but they were sold out in my size and I found these for just £5 in the sale so I can live with them.

Outfit: July 16th - 1940s
Last weekend we went to stay with some friends and visited the annual 1940s event in a town close to where they live. I spotted (forgive the pun) this dress in a charity shop several months back and snapped it up for just £6. It's a modern day dress but I think it has a 1940s look to it, and I saw at least two other ladies wearing the same one.

Outfit: July 15th - Seeing Spots
I figured jeans and pumps for the office needed smartening up a little, even if it was Friday, so I added a blazer. I don't wear this top very often and I'm not loving it here. I think it would look better teamed with a pencil skirt.
So I have grey and white pumps and I figured I'd add a black pair in too, so I can keep wearing them into next season. Summer has finally arrived in the Frozen North (hello 30 degrees celsius!) so it seems strange to be thinking about next season, but it will be upon us before we know it.

Outfit: July 14th - Navy T Shirt Dress
This dress is the twin sister of the black and white striped one that I have been wearing a lot lately. It also comes in an olive colour which, at just £6, I would totally have bought had they ever had my size in store. But I love the navy version almost as much as the striped one and wore it a couple of times last week. I styled it with my white pumps (because, of course) which I have worn so much that I have worn a hole in the sole. Oops. Luckily I have a back up pair (not identical but close enough) so it's all good.

Outfit; July 12th - Red Jacket, Snakeskin Shoes
I went to visit my friend S in Bristol the second weekend in July and we my have done a little shopping. I don't usually find any shoes that fit me in TK Maxx (they have a habit of labelling US size 9s as UK size 9s which is just depressing) so when I found this pair of snakeskin flats I was very excited. They tick all the boxes for everything I look for in a shoe right now: flat (walking to work), pointed toe, and straps (I am finding flats way easier to walk in if they are attached to my foot in some way, either with straps or laces). So I had to snap them up. They are by the brand Blink (which I have previously only seen in Brantano, so they're not high end or anything) but that meant they weren't expensive.
I am loving easy, stretchy dresses this summer so that was the obvious choice for showing off my lovely shoes. It wasn't very warm last week, thank to a lovely northerly wind, so I added a jacket too.

Outfit: July 4th - Monday, Monday
Monday mornings can be tough so wearing super comfy pants definitely helps. These olive/khaki green ones are fast becoming a favourite. They're so soft and stretchy that they feel like leggings, yet they're real pants. You can't ask for more than that. Except perhaps for the sun to shine. Which it did.

Outfit: July 3rd - Black Jeans and White T-Shirt, Two Ways
I'm a little obsessed with black jeans right now. I don't know why, I've never really been that into them previously but last weekend they were all I wore. On Sunday July 3rd I had church in the morning and a visit to my high school's open day in the afternoon, so I started with a base of black jeans and a white t shirt and built two outfits around it. For a smarter look for church I added a blazer and some pointed flat shoes.
To make my look more casual for the afternoon all I had to do was switch the blazer for a faux-leather jacket and switch the shoes for my beloved white pumps and I was good to go.
