Outfit: March 7th – Sans Flash
There must have been too much light when I took these photos as the flash on my camera only went off for a few of the photos. Not that I’m complaining about too much light, but it seemed dark on the landing. Annoyingly my camera’s flash settings are either off or auto, and if it decides the flash isn’t needed there’s nothing I can do to override it.
It’s hard to know which way to go with outfits in these early days of spring. Pants with bare feet and shoes, or skirts with shoes but still tights because it’s not warm enough to go without as yet (and, let’s face it, it will NEVER be warm enough to go without tights with this skirt)? I went the skirt and tights route on this sunny Tuesday, with ballet flats rather than boots or brogues. It’s a cute little skirt but it will need to be retired for the summer.
It was warm enough for a lightweight knit too. This sweater works best with high waisted skirts I feel, though it’s OK with jeans if they’re not too low cut at the waist.
I ended up switching out the shoes when I went home at dinnertime. Maybe my feet have shrunk, the shoes have stretched out or the tights were too slippery, I don’t know, but the shoes felt like they were falling off my feet so I changed into lace up pumps.
